Waiting for sunshine

Inspiration for the piece:

It is a wet, misty spring evening, and every tree branch is dripping tiny silver sparkling balls of water. The shining drops trickle down the leaves and fall freely to the earth below. I captured the feeling of weightless peace with natural tree leaves plated with silver and a pair of silver chains, with tiny drops of rose quartz, amethyst, and silver snow beads.

Where it’s been:

Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest: The day’s rain gave way to evening sunshine that gave a sharp contrast highlighting the features of this peice between the running water drops on the trees which then found their way to the river.
