Inspiration for the piece:

With their grace and majestic beauty, cranes have been a symbol of hope for countless generations. I sought a balance of wood of metal, with the cranes legs stepping forward in the next movement of their dance.

Where it’s been:

Twin Falls State Park: Along the riverbank, a tall stem of grass hides behind a massive boulder. The cranes balance in the air, as if they were a snapshot of a beautiful dance of nature.
